More predictions from the oddsmakers. You can bet. If you are right, you get $100 after the elections. If you are wrong, you get nothing after the elections. Here is how the oddsmakers are calling some of the elections on the WSX Washington Exchange web site on 9/29/2007:
Democrat Elected President in 2008
Republican Elected President in 2008
Arnold Schwarzenegger (R) to Win CA Gov. Race
Bob Riley (R) to Win AL Gov. Race
Chet Culver (D) to Win IA Gov. Race
* * *
Geoff Davis (R)* to Win KY 4th District
George Radanovich (R)* to Win CA 19th District
Harry Mitchell (D) to Win AZ 5th District
Hal Rogers (R)* to Win KY 5th District
Heath Shuler (D) to Win NC 11th District
John Spratt (D)* to Win SC 5th District
John Michael Weaver (D) to Win KY 2nd District
John A. Yarmuth (D) to Win KY 3rd District
Judy Feder (D) to Win VA 10th District
Ken Lucas (D) to Win KY 4th District
Kenneth Stepp (D) to Win KY 5th District
It looks like the oddsmakers give Hal Rogers a 52 1/2 per cent chance to get re-elected, but Kenneth Stepp a 50% chance to beat him. I guess the "house" gets to keep the difference.
In the California race, Gov. Schwarzenneger is down to a 90% chance to win--from 95% last time.
Keep watching, folks. You have 40 more days to go.
